Caption: Midbrain tegmentum area neurons expressing retro-AAV-jGCaMP7f. Immunostaining was used to identify the following targets—GFP: GcaMP7f (green); TH: Dopamine neurons (blue). A Zeiss AxioImager M2 upright widefield fluorescence/differential interference contrast microscope (5x objective) was used to obtain the image.
