- Age at Injection
- 3-4 months
- Time After Injection
- 1-8 weeks
- Detection Method
- Immunohistochemistry, fiber photometry
- Assay & Results
- Very limited expression in noradrenergic cells of locus coeruleus. Tested 1 week to 8 weeks after injection.
- Functional Testing
- Weak/unreliable signal on fiber photometry.
- Other Information
- Yes - I experienced toxicity in the sense that several animals developed seizures at the higher titers (undiluted or diluted 1:5), but I would get no GCaMP signal at lower titers.
- Tips & Comments
- I tested multiple capsids and promoters, and have found that AAV5-CAG works best.
