Caption: Brain sections were labeled with Anti-APP [6E10-A5] from Addgene (226376-rAb). As expected, the labeling patterns in individuals with Alzheimer's or Hoarding disorder suggests APP expression while that of an individual with diabetes and cancer does not. Human brain tissue was analyzed from postmortem sources and is available thanks to the generosity of the tissue donors and their families through Neuropathology Brain Bank & Research CoRE at Mount Sinai.
